HILLTOP GAMES FEATURE LOTS OF FUN AND COMPETITION
The Hilltop Games were held on a cool, cloudy Friday (May25th) and featured 24 teams going head to head in friendly competition.
There was a lot of good sportsmanship and teamwork. The teams were named after colleges and the event stations included the obstacle course, bean bag toss, potato sack race, team baton relay, basketball shooting, sponge relay, and super relay. All of the school's sixth graders were either co-captains of a team or game leaders.
"It was so well organized and the sixth grade kids were amazing! What a wonderful tradition," said Mrs. Rosi Martinez who is a fourth grade teacher at HILLTOP
Mr. Bruder, a former HILLTOP teacher and Mrs. Caballero volunteered to coordinate and set up the Hilltop Games and all HILLTOP students enjoyed the day.
After the competitions, the top 3 winning teams were announced and everyone got to enjoy green popsicles thanks to donations.
