The School for Good and Evil
Book review by Nathalie Isabella Pena
Soman Chainani has started an amazing trilogy of fantasy books. The first book, The School for Good and Evil, took place in a village where every four years, two kids at age 12 are kidnapped and taken away to a far away part of the forest (The School for Good and Evil). In the year that the story takes place, two girls are taken away to a mysterious place far away within the forest. The two girls, Sophie and Agatha, have unexpected written destinies for themselves. Although, Sophie had always dreamed of being good, she thinks that she is too beautiful for the world. On the other hand, Agatha didn't want to be a princess nor a wife. Instead, she wants to live alone with her pet bald cat, Reaper. Because they "switched places", (or at least that's what Sophie thinks) Sophie and Agatha are now determined to leave The School for Good and Evil to rewrite their unfortunate fate.
The book contains thriller action, some romance, and foreshadowing. The New York Times best selling book was published on May 14, 2013. The book is being sold by Barns and Noble, ebay, Amazon, and at other bookstores and online websites. This is one good book series that you should really read! Remember now, in the forest primeval, there's a school for Good and Evil. Two towers like twin heads, one for the pure, one for the wicked. Try to escape and you'll always fail. The only way out, is through a fairy tale.
