Chris Leyva Experiences Sixth Grade Camp
Story by Isabelle Eide
No doubts were in his mind about Sixth Grade Camp. At age 12, Chris left for camp and there he had some of the best memories of his life having fun with other students in the cabins. Archery and rock climbing were his favorite activities. He not only liked the activities at camp but he also enjoyed the food.
"The food was amazing," said Chris. "It was even better than the food we have at school."
Chris though to himself as he went to bed on his first night at camp.
"The mattress isn't memory foam, but I'd give it a five or six rating."
Chris could describe the beds as only okay, but he said the counselors were great. They did all kinds of fun things like stories and games.
"I would recommend it," said Chris. "However, if I were going to live up there, I would need to have my tablets and games to make it unbelievably amazing."
