Slave Dancer Book Review by Breanna Ugalda
The book Slave Dancer is a heartwarming but a chilling thrill to read. This historic fiction book tells the story of a boy named Jessie Bollier who sees firsthand the savage events of slaves being sold. Jessie is kidnaped on a ship called the "Moonlight" which is slave trade ship where an unpleasant job has to be fulfilled. The young boy is sickened to face the finale horror that will haunt him until his grave. This amazing book was written by Paula Fox and I would recommend this book to future readers. Although I have only shared such a small part of the book, once you read it, the journey takes you a long way. I personally am happy to say that I have read this book and would recommend it along with five stars. I hope you read this book and share the thrilling events with others.
